About

A Place of Love, Loss, and Becoming

Roma es Amor was born in 2021 as a personal dream shared with my beloved husband. It began quietly, like many meaningful things do — as an idea, a conversation, a vision of a life rooted in love, learning, and purpose. At the time, we could not imagine how much this project would grow, nor how essential it would become to my survival.

Life changed. Love transformed into memory. Plans transformed into responsibility. And Roma es Amor transformed into something far greater than a project — it became a place where I could breathe, rebuild, and continue living.

This space saved my life.

Roma es Amor gave me purpose when everything felt fragile. It reminded me of who I am and what I have always wanted to do: teach, listen, guide, and leave a positive imprint on others. It is where my professional experience, my personal journey, and my values meet — without masks, without perfection.

Here, I share reflections shaped by lived experience: grief and resilience, illness and healing, migration and belonging, leadership and humility, motherhood, education, and the everyday courage it takes to keep moving forward. I believe deeply in the power of education — not only formal education, but human education: learning how to think, how to adapt, how to ask questions, and how to remain curious even when life is hard.
Roma es Amor exists to remind us that continuing to live fully is an act of strength. That growth can coexist with pain. That happiness does not cancel difficulty — it lives alongside it. And that teaching, in its simplest form, is an act of love.

This is not a perfect story.
It is a real one.
If you are here, you are welcome — to read, to learn, to reflect, to feel accompanied.
Because all roads lead to Roma.
And Roma is love.
